PhD Candidate in Geophysics, New Mexico Tech
I'm currently a PhD candidate in seismology at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, NM. I use teleseismic traveltime and attenuation tomography to study the structure of the continental lithosphere. I'm also interested in exploring joint inversion methodologies that incorporate gravity data. My project, CREST, is funded by the NSF Continental Dynamics program. It is a multidisciplinary investigation of the Colorado Rocky Mountains and the Aspen Anomaly, an enigmatic low velocity region in the mantle beneath central Colorado.
