We are still constructing a detailed workshop schedule. Those of you
who did not previously provide us with a title should send one to
Laurel Goodwin at lgoodwin@nmt.edu ASAP, so that we can finalize
the schedule and make it available to all. We have allocated a
significant amount of time to posters and discussion sessions, with
the goal of facilitating interaction between participants. Poster
presenters will be given 5 minutes to introduce their posters, which
should roughly follow an AGU format (3' X 6' size); posters will be
put up Tuesday morning and can remain on the wall until the end of
the workshop. We will provide you with material to attach your poster
to the wall, so don't worry about putting thumbtacks in your luggage.
You are welcome to bring more than one poster, and feel free to
'recycle' a poster(s) from a previous conference; we are interested
in your research, thoughts, and ideas, and not how pretty (or wrinkled)
your presentation is.

Oral presentations can be made using a computer projection system,
overhead projector, or slide projector. All participants are welcome
to share interesting data or provocative ideas during discussion
sessions, so feel free to bring along an overhead or slide to throw
onto the screen. You should anticipate receiving the detailed
conference schedule from us soon. Additional questions about the
workshop format, etc., should be directed to Laurel Goodwin.
