Team of 5 grad/undergrad students at the IBA competition in Denver PDF Print E-mail

A team of five E&ES and Petroleum Engineering students (Natasha Trujillo, Evan Gragg, Emily Morton, Neil Currie and Tonya Ross) participated in the Imperial Barrel Award competition that was held in Denver, March 14. They presented to a jury of industry professionals a 1.3 BBL of oil and 600 Tcf of gas prospect in the Taranaki Basin, New Zealand. The Imperial Barrel Award is a worldwide competition for universities organized by AAPG. The E&ES department participates every year in this competition.
