MSEC 239 Computer Lab



 

MSEC239_2008

This lab is maintained by the Earth & Environmental Science Department. The lab is open M-F from 8 to 5. You must have an EES computer account to use these computers. The following equipment is in the lab:

  • 16 networked PCs - 6 Dual cores, 10 Pentium 4s running Windows XP SP3
  • High-speed large-format B&W laser printer - You supply your own paper.
  • HP Scanjet 3970 flatbed scanner

MSEC 345 Computer Lab

The Geophysics Program maintains a research computer laboratory that students with an EES computer account can use. The following equipment is in the lab:

  • One Sun workstation
  • One PC
  • 9 Macintosh workstations
  • 3 Linux workstations
  • Flatbed scanner
  • High-speed B&W laser printer
  • Color laser printer
