Staff of the Exploratorium traveled to Antarctica and Mt. Erebus during
the 2001-2002 season to learn and share their experiences with the public.

NSF sponsored program to bring a small number of humanities scholars
(painting, photography, writing, history and other liberal arts) to
Antarctica to help increase the public's understanding of the Antarctic.
Henry Kaiser - a widely recoginized and creative guitarist from
California. He has performed with many musicians from around the
world. He traveled to Mt. Erebus with writer Bill Fox. A
