The monitoring of Mt. Erebus for volcanic deformation by high tech means is still in its infancy. However, in the past few years, the Global Positioning System (GPS) has played a key role in determining the subtle movements of the volcano. We hope to eventually bring you all of the pertinent data relating to the deformation of Mt. Erebus, including real-time GPS data from many of the monitoring stations on the volcano. In the meantime, there are a couple of poster presentations available.
