Travel 1 mile, then left at Y intersection, cross dry creek bed, travel .5 mile, station will be on left, just over the hill top. Park at 37 36.614 N 110 41.896 W, look for orange flag at parking spot, and on top of hill. The dry creek bed crossing may require 4WD or high clearance. Good road, but nasty if wet. Directions: Follow signs for Burr Trail/Boulder north from UT57. Go 6.1 mi. past Grand Staircase Escalante NM sign and turn right on dirt road, from there stick with the road most traveled (see map), veering right toward Lampstand (there is a sign), then back left toward the flats. You will travel a total of ~7.5 mi. from Burr Trail on a road that is good, but nasty if wet. The station is on your left, there is an orange flag tied to a tree near the road.
