Inset in upper left corner gives location of Busted Butte, and the schematic cross-section shows the location of the
portal that leads to the mineback face illustrated in the larger diagram. Fault-zone character changes from an open slip
surface in partly welded Topopah Spring Tuff to a zone of deformation bands in non-welded Calico Hills Tuff. Striped pattern
denotes extent of perched water table, which is visibly elevated in the vicinity of the small-displacement fault.
